It depends on our guests, sometimes it is very frequent, sometimes very rare. We are always there to help you out if you need any advice, information, or if you have an emergency situation. I am available on Airbnb messages, MOBILE Apps, and email.
Neighborhood overview
The house is located at the edge of the Mavarstica Bay in Okrug Gornji, the island of Ciovo, and near a natural beach with a beautiful view of the bay and archipelago, offering stunning sunsets. This location is recommended for people who look for quiet vacations in touch with nature. The island is suitable for walking, bike riding, diving… FKK beach is located around 1.5 km from the house and it is within walking distance from the apartment.
Our neighborhood is quiet and at the edge of the island, but equipped with all you need, with small cafe/beer/ice-cream to-go spots at the beach. Fast-food ZVEKO with excellent sandwiches, pizzas, or barbecue is only 150 m from our apartments.
Getting around
Our house is around 800 m from the public transportation. If you do not have a car you can rent a scooter or a bike. There are also many places to visit on the island and around it. The historic City of Trogir is 4 km, Old Salona 27 km, and Split 33 km from the apartment, Gospe od Prizidnice etc. Near our house is Trogir Diving Center so if you like to dive and explore the island you can join them.
Other things to note
Bring your sunscreen and beach stuff, you will need it. Bring also one long sleeve top/shirt or similar as nights can be fresh, particularly in Trogir. If you are into hiking, also bring your sneakers as the island is hilly and you can explore it.
Our listing is located on Ciovo, connected by bridges to the historic city of Trogir. Trogir is famous for many reasons, e.g. the historic Trogir cathedral, Kamerlengo tower, museums, and other attractions. Most of our guests come to our apartment because of the beautiful Adriatic Sea.
The apartment location is suitable for daily excursions to the city of Split, where you can visit the UNESCO protected historic monument of Diocletian’s Palace, ancient Salona, or even Klis fortress.
From our apartments, take advantage of daily boat trips to the island of Hvar or Vis (Blue Cave, Budikovac…).
If you come by car to our apartments, you can travel to the Krka waterfalls, the beautiful cities of Sibenik or Zadar.
Some of our guests also visit Dubrovnik (Croatia), Medjugorje and/or Mostar in Bosna and Herzegovina, which can be organized as a one-day excursion by car.
HOUSE RULES
We will welcome you at the check-in, but in case you prefer to check in without contact, you will be provided with all the necessary details. Anyway, some useful information are below:
1. Hot water – in Dalmatia, we usually have a water heater, which is in the bathroom, all you need is to keep it on. If you are a bigger group or you like to spend a lot of time under the shower, maybe you will need some time between two showers to let the heater do its job.
2. POOL rules are listed next to the outside shower. Read them carefully and keep in mind we are fine until you as our guests are safe.
3. User manuals for all kitchen appliances are in the apartment – either in the lowest compartment under the stove or under the small sink in Studio Okrug.
4. When you are out of the apartment you should turn off all devices except the water heater and fridge. Keep in mind it is dangerous to leave an electrical device home alone.
5. When making the reservation, please state the exact number of guests, as we need to respect license limitations. Regardless of the guests’ age each person adds up towards the total number of guests, which applies to infants as well.
6. If you note that something isn’t working properly please report it to us immediately. Although we check all upon guests’ check out, it is much better to inform as so that we can have it fixed ASAP. Everything is brand new in the apartment, but nonetheless things can break.
7. Our garbage can is outside, and you only need to bring put your garbage in the can and we will take care of the rest. We recycle SO make SURE YOU PUT your garbage in the right can 🙂
8. The law requires that every guest has to present a valid government ID upon check-in, and persons other than the registered guests are restricted from the apartment.
9. We are a ‘no pets’ listing. Although we are animal lovers, we respect that some guests might be allergic to so animals, included service animals, are not allowed in the apartment.
Many guests have asked us how to bake. When you use our oven in Studio Okrug, you just need to set the timer (third button) and everything will be baked perfectly.
